Learn to Skydive

ACCELERATED FREEFALL (AFF)

AFF is a course designed for beginners with no experience in skydiving. The course gives you the knowledge and experience to become a qualified and licensed skydiver (achieve your ‘A’ license).  The course is made up of nine stages covering the skills and techniques of parachuting, freefall sequences, body position, safety, canopy flight and landings.

THE FIRST JUMP COURSE

The First Jump Course is designed to help you successfully complete the first stage of your AFF.   No previous experience is necessary to partake in a First Jump Course however doing a tandem skydive first is a great stress free way to get that first nerve racking skydive done.  In the First Jump Course you will spend a full day in the classroom learning both the theoretical and practical side of skydiving, including ground based training designed to simulate what you will be doing in the air.

After successfully completing your time in the classroom you will be taken for your Stage One jump. This can be completed either tandem assist or assisted solo depending on your comfort levels.  You will jump with qualified instructors who are there to keep an eye on you and to assist you through your skydive.

WHEN ARE COURSES RUN?

First Jump Courses are run most weekends, please contact us on 0400 500 123 or click here to contact us via email.  If the weather isn’t suitable for skydiving then all the classroom and ground based training will be completed and you can return at another time that suits you to complete your skydive.

If you’d like to continue on to complete the AFF course and obtain your ‘A’ Licence then you can work towards this on most weekends following your First Jump Course.
